BOB DEGUS - Director/Producer
For more than two decades, as a director, producer, and writer, Bob has blended cutting edge technology and ideas with film and theatre, discovering new ways of storytelling, while shepherding numerous creative visions into the world.
He's a voting member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and a member of Lincoln Center Theater’s Directors' Lab. He produced the triple Academy Award-nominated movie Pleasantville and was an executive on Austin Powers International Man of Mystery, and many others. Early in his career, he produced two Academy Award-nominated short films and is a two-time CableACE nominee.
MICHELE McGUIRE - Screenwriter/Producer
Michele is an award-winning screenwriter, Oscar-nominated producer, and a two-time CableACE nominee. She produced Kathleen Turner and JoBeth William's directorial debut films, as well as producing for writers Lynn Mamet, Chris Gerolmo, and Gary Marshall. She served as an executive at New Line Cinema.
Her non-fiction book Xelie's Gift, inspired by a special dog that transformed not only Michele's life, but her approach to training and working with dogs and the people that love them, was honored as a finalist in three book award competitions.
ALEXANDRA ANGELIQUE LEEPER - Producer
Alexandra has been working as an original content film producer aimed to raise consciousness for the past eleven years and is currently working on three feature films. She has an in-depth background on multiple spiritual paths, has practiced a variety of yoga styles extensively over the past eighteen years, and founded Yoga4Artists - a unique practice she designed specifically for creatives.
She earned her BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where she trained for Broadway, working with some of the best acting, singing and dancing coaches in NYC. She also wrote a feature length screenplay which she plans to direct and co-wrote the book for an original musical designed to be shot in virtual reality. She is deeply grateful to be in service of this work, alongside such a profoundly talented and multi-faceted team.
NALIN CHUAPETCHARASOPON – Crowdfunding
Nalin helps people bring products to market using Kickstarter and IndieGogo. Since 2015, she’s worked with creators to raise millions of dollars.
As Founder of Crush Crowdfunding, she offers no-BS marketing resources, and campaign tactics to get products strategies, launched and funded. With a double-Masters from Stanford University and the University of Virginia, Nalin applies her interdisciplinary skills to help craft the best products and market it to the right people. She is deeply passionate about empowering entrepreneurs to launch their dreams.
In her free time, you can find her on the soccer field, sampling beer, or playing board games.
Sunny Brenner – Attorney / Loeb & Loeb
Sunny is a litigator, appellate advocate, counselor, and former federal prosecutor. He has unique experience in representing and advising clients in the entertainment, sports, and media businesses. His clients have included film studios, television networks, production companies, financial institutions, film distributors, financiers, advertising agencies, and music publishers, as well as producers, directors, screenwriters, actors, athletes, musical artists, and other individuals involved in film, television, music, and new media.
Prior to joining Loeb & Loeb, he served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Central District of California. He received multiple commendations for his work as a federal prosecutor, including the U.S. Department of Justice Special Achievement Award. From 1987 to 1988, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jerome Farris of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
In 2017, he was named a “Southern California Super Lawyer” by Thomson Reuters.
HAYLEY GRIPP – Social Media Consultant
Hayley has worked with major brands, non-profits and also has a background in both film and philanthropy. A specialist in both organic social media growth, content creation, and campaigns that bring direct results, Hayley is an expert at driving home the message by engaging the audience directly to project a positive image.
She calls herself a “Philanthropic and Ethical Relations Specialist.” This is a combination of public relations, social media influencing, and strategic marketing that have a high emphasis on positive image and branding, ethical business advising, and key philanthropic collaborations to boost exposure and further the work’s mission.
GRACE HART - Assistant
Grace came to know Bob Degus and Alexandra Angélique and their powerful work during her time working and practicing at Jivamukti Yoga School in NYC. Brought together by a deep appreciation for yoga, performing arts, and an interest in raising the collective consciousness, they became fast friends and allies in a mission to create a more loving and awakened paradigm where the artist is deeply valued.
Grace was born and raised in New Orleans. She studied ballet intensively from a young age and went on to receive a BFA in Modern Dance from Marymount Manhattan College. Her training in dance taught her discipline, creative problem solving, and the value of community and collaboration. In the past 5 years, Grace has worn the hats of Choreographer, Dance Teacher, Yoga Teacher, and Post-Production Coordinator. She aims to create a more conscious, loving, empathetic, and compassionate world through all of her work.
